My educational journey started in Nova Scotia where I attended St. Mary’s University and St. Francis Xavier University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts. I then traveled across the country to continue my education at the University of Alberta, where I graduated with my Bachelor of Education. I moved to Fort McMurray in 2012 and began teaching at Beacon Hill Public School  in 2013 and have been fortunate enough to teach grades 1, Kindergarten briefly, and grade 3. In 2016 I joined Timberlea Public School, as a grade 3 teacher and am excited with all of these new experiences and adventures.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, baking, and decorating cakes and cupcakes. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our little dog Missy. Missy has been a whirlwind and every day with our rescue is a new adventure.
